Modern slavery is a serious global issue that affects millions of people. It involves the exploitation of individuals through forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, domestic servitude, and other forms of coercion or control.

Although many people associate modern slavery with illegal activity overseas, it can occur in many sectors and countries, including the UK. Organisations and employees both have an important role to play in recognising the signs of exploitation and responding appropriately.

This course helps employees understand what modern slavery is, recognise warning signs that may indicate exploitation, and know how to report concerns responsibly if they arise.

This course includes
  • • Understand what modern slavery means
    • Recognise different forms of exploitation
    • Identify warning signs in the workplace and supply chain
    • Understand how organisations reduce modern slavery risks
