Sample Risk Assessor Training
Overview:
This practical course from Cheviot HR, developed in line with HSE guidance, equips you to confidently carry out Display Screen Equipment (DSE) risk assessments that comply with both the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.
You’ll learn to identify DSE users, assess and reduce risks, and manage home or hybrid setups in a reasonable, proportionate way. The course explains what employers are legally required to do, what’s considered “reasonably practicable,” and how to promote safe working habits long-term.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
